Description		    R. Abraham Joshua Heshel b. Joseph Meir Twerski (1895-1984), Hassidic Rebbe of Makhnifka, served the Russian Jewish population with Hassidic doctrine for several decades. From Moscow in 1932 to Tashkent several years later, five years in Siberia and other Soviet paradises, he finally suceeded to move to Israel in 1968 where he established his synagouge in Bnei Brak and developed a huge following.
