Description |

Hasidic and Kabbalistic commentaries on the Pentateuch.
R. Moses Shoham bed Dan of Dolina (end of 18th century), hasidic author and preacher in Dolina in eastern Galicia. He was a disciple of R. Israel b. Eliezer Ba'al Shem Tov, and was related by marriage to R. Jehiel Michal of Zloczow. He quotes traditions and teachings of both in his works: Imrei Shoham (1880), on the tractates Ketubbot, Kiddushin and Bava Mezia; Seraf Peri Ez Hayyim (1866), on the Peri Ez Hayyim of Hayyim Vital.
