Description		    Even ha-Ezer on marriage, divorce, and related topics with the commentary Bet Joseph by R. Joseph Caro. Printed in the Hebrew year שכ"ה represented on the title page by the Biblical verse, עוד יוסף חי, used by Jacob to express his relief that his son Joseph lives. The printer used the phrase to express the identical feelings of the Jewish nation for the Author of the commentary, R. Joseph Caro.

          
Paragraph 2    עם פירושי וחדושי... ר' יוסף קארו... וקרא שמו בית יוסף... דף ב,ב: הקדמת המגיה שמואל בן יצחק הי"ד פיהם ש"ץ מפדובה, הכותב בין השאר שההוצאה הנוכחית על פי הקודמת (ויניצאיה שכ"ד), אך הוגהה "בדיוק גדול... עיינתיו תמיד, קודם נתתיו להדפיס". בסוף דברי סיום מאת המגיה הנ"ל ובסופם שיר מאתו, הפותח: אבן הראש יעקב שמו.
