Description		    Booklet with kabbalistic content for Shabbat night. The title page states that it is Shir Hadash and includes Shir ha-Shirim, entreaties for Shabbat, bar Yohai in Arabic, that it is customary to say at ashmerot ha-boker of the holy Sabbath. The text begins with Elijah na-Novi, R. Shimon, followed by Shir ha-Shirim. Next is the bakkashah (liturgical supplication for Shabbat) Yedid Nefesh (by R. Eleazar Azikri), Yigdal, Yah Ribbon Olam (by R. Israel ben Moses Najara, Adon Olam, Pizmon bar Yohai in Arabic.

Books printed in Tripoli are very rare. The Jewish population in that location was only about 15,000 and Hebrew works, primarily liturgical, were printed there for a short time only.

          
Paragraph 2    והוא כולל שיר השירים ובקשות לשבת, (פזמון) בר יוחאי בשפת ערבי שנוהגים לומר באשמורת הבוקר של שבת קודש.

שער-מעטפת. הטכסט מתחיל בדף [2,ב] ("פתיחת אליהו הנביא"). "שיר השירים" מנוקד. ה"בקשות לשבת" הן פיוטים שונים. הפזמון "בר יוחאי" מאת ר' שמעון לביא. בעברית ובערבית באותיות עבריות (אוצר השירה הפיוט, ב, עמ' 58, מס' 1340).
