Description		    Proofs that resurrection תחיית המתים is from the Torah by R. Jehuda Lebh, deputy and Jewish representative in Altstrelitz in the Duchy of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. The full title is Die Auferstehung der Todten aus dem Gesetze Mosis Bewiesen. The author, R. Jehuda Lebh (Judah Löb) lived in Altstrelitz and later served as rabbi of Birnbaum, and then of Stockholm. The work was translated into German by Professor Tychsen. The volume begins with a forward from the translator (Borbericht des Uebersetzers). The title and several pages have decorative floral decorations and at the beginning of several sections are column wide vignettes. The text is in a single column in Fraktur. There is occasional Hebrew. Printed on heavy white paper. Although known this work appears to be rare, copies not being recorded in the collections of several major libraries.
