Flyer with the prayers following the customs of Furth. A similiar flyer following the custom of Frankfurt is known.
In many German Hebrew presses, Jewish workers would print small works (i.e. calendars, selected blessings, prayers, etc.) without reporting them to the Christian nobleman that owned the press. The exorbitant rents and taxes demanded of the Jews made economic survival impossible. To put food on the table works like this lot were printed and sold clandestinely. Many times they would forge the name of press and printer to cover the deed.
