Description		    Transcript of a lawsuit against several Polish Jews and the owner of a tavern for taxes and fees levied for the use of roads. The document prepared in Hayn and Moritzburg contains several additional accusations and contains affidavits and statements by officials. Moritzburg is a chateau or castle completely surrounded by a lake built in the 16th century by Friedrich August I, who was reputed to have fathered over 600 children! In any event this historic document sheds light on the conditions suffered by the Jews under the German rulers.
