Description		    The Shadar R. Yom Tov Krispi, ancestor of the Salonica and Izmir Krispin family of rabbis, writes to R. Jacob Ibn Zur in Fez, on Thursday the 23rd of Menahem Av, [5]475 (August 22, 1715), concerning collections of funds for the Jerusalem community. He visited Morocco in 1718 and many wonderful stories are told about the visit and his warm relationship with the saintly Yavetz.
