Description		    Collection of three small Midrashim. In addition to Divrei ha-Yamim le-Moshe Rabbenu this collection includes Petirat Aaron and Ma’aseh Tuvi ben Tuvial. The title page simply names the first two midrashim, they being better known, and then describes Ma’aseh Tuvi ben Tuvial, writing that he was exiled from Shomron in the days of Hosea ben Aleh. He was an inhabitant of Naphtali in the Galil by the sea border. Written by the Gaon, R. Abraham Azulai and transcribed in a clear and lucid language by R. Solomon Adahan, son of the righteous R. Mesoud Adahan. The first and primary midrash is Divrei ha-Yamim le-Moshe Rabbenu, an embellished biography of Moses’ early life prior to the Exodus of Egypt. It expands upon the information in Exodus, based on older Midrashim. It includes his miraculous birth and wars in Ethiopia. The Midrash is considered to be a medieval work. It has been suggested that the many adventures ascribed in the work to Moses are the product of the author's fertile imagination. The prophet's early life, before the Exodus from Egypt, forms the major part of the story while his later life and death are described only very briefly. The author based himself on some of the midrashic interpretations of the life of Moses as told in the Book of Exodus. According to the story, Balaam the Magician was adviser to the king of Egypt in Moses' time; Jethro, also one of the king's advisers, was driven away from the royal court after he tried to help the Jews in Egypt. The author also describes a number of miracles (not mentioned in the Bible) that supposedly occurred in Moses' youth and which saved him from disaster. Completely new stories were also added to Moses' biography, e.g., a very detailed tale about his becoming king of Ethiopia, after he had driven away Balaam who had seized the Ethiopian throne. In the story, Moses reigned for 40 years in the kingdom.

Petirat Aharon is a midrash describing in detail the death of Aaron. Ma’aseh Tuvi ben Tuvial has been noted above. All are in a single column in rabbinic letters excepting headers and initial words. Divrei ha-Yamim le-Moshe Rabbenu is printed on a clear white paper.
