Description		    Sexual ethics by R. Abraham ben Isaac Shtern. Mezor ve-Terufah is in two parts, each with its own title page. The first part is concerned with illnesses and nocturnal emissions, the second with medicinal responses. The verso of the first title page has dedications to R. Baruch Frankel, R. Eliezer Lazer Horowitz, and R. Zinval Baruk of Leshitz. Next is a dedication to the author’s father, R. Isaac Shtern in verse. There are prefatory remarks from the author, an introduction, and the text, all in a single column in rabbinic type excepting headers and initial words which are in square letters. The text of part one includes numerous illustrative stories from physicians and letters from patients. The title page of part two states that it is concerned with medicinal cures, and what the transgressor who has issued seed in vain should do in order to live. This part is dedicated to R. Nathan Kramzer, R. Moses Zilberberg, and R. Judah ben Isaac Shtern. The volume concludes with a page of errata.
