R. Judah b. Meir Issachar Ber ha-Levi Rosner (1879-1944), was born in Serednee, Hungary. He studied in Hungary's famous Yeshivot at Seget, Hust, and finally Presburg (Bratslava). R. Judah was the son in law of Rabbi Moses ha-Levi Jungreis rabbi of Kosica. He served as rabbi and head of the Yeshiva in Szekelyhid (Sacueni) from 1905 until his death. An erudite talmudic scholar he wrote Imre Yehudah, novellae on several tractates (Sacueni 1928). This humble servant of his nation was exterminated by the murderous German Nazis in the Holocaust.
