Description		    Novellae on tractate Menahot, other tractates, responsa by R. Rahamim Hayyim Judah ben Mehiel Jacob Israel. Facing the title page is an oval photograph portrait of the author with colored flowers above the picture. The title page informs that R. Rahamim Hayyim Israel was the rabbi of Rhodes. There is an introduction from R. Rueben Elijah Israel, son of the author. The text, in two columns in rabbinic type, excepting headers and initial words, is comprised of comprehensive novellae on Menahot (1a-63b), concluding with an index (64a-65b). This is followed by novellae on other tractates, Likkutim al ha-Shass (66a-76b), 58 responsa (77a-129a) on all four parts of the Shulhan Arukh, a secton evtitled inyanim nefradim (129b-136a), on Gittin (136a-138b), discorses on the parsha (139a-144a), discourses (144a-171b)on various subjects, such as teshuvah, zedakah and milah, a hesped, concluding with verse, an index, errata, an index of the responsa, the family genealogy, and the tzevah of R. Rahamim Hayyim Israel.
