Description		    Abridged edition of R. Yiyah b. Jacob Salih (b. 1804), Mekor Hayyim on the laws of kosher slaughter and processing. The scribe and/or author, Hayyim b. Yiyah Salih of Sana, states in the introduction that he excerpted the material and the work as the original as his name is also Hayyim! The original Mekor Hayyim enjoyed widespread distribution throughout Yemen.
