Description		    Responsa by R. Samuel Aaron b. Zevi (Hirsch) Elazar Rubin of Korczyna (c.1825-1877). He was born in Kurima, Slovakia and studied with the great Hasidic Rebbes of Poland, R. Hayyim Halberstam of Zanz, author of Divrei Hayyim, R. Aryeh Loeb Lipschitz, author of Aryeh Debei Ilu'e, and others. He is reputed to have studied the Tractate Baba Metzia with the Divrei Hayyim for 22 years! R. Samuel Aaron married the daughter of R. Israel Dov Lindberger of Briegel and remained there to organized a Yeshiva which he headed for several years. It attracted and trained the cream of Polish Jewry. He served in the rabbinical positions of Zabrov, Hungary and Korczyna, Galicia. R. Samuel Aaron passed on at the young age of 52 in Carlsbad and was buried in Cracow.
