נגד הריפורמים ומייסדי "בתי מדרש הרבנים הסעמינאר" בבודאפסט וקריאה לאורתודוכסים להתאסף "סביב לדגל 'חברת שומרי הדת'" ולבחור "מקרבנו אנשים... לישב בסוד אסיפת הקאנגרעס בעיר פעסט". בסוף האיגרת דברים על המחלוקת בקהילת קאשוי. "תשובה על אגרת פתוחה", בשם "דברי שלום", הוציא ר' יצחק אוהב שלום [פרידליבר], Prag 1868. עיין: פרידליבר, יצחק בן אלברט.
