Description		    On the redemption of the Jews and their settlement in the land of Israel from a religious perspective by R. David Moskovits. The title page states that the book is in two parts, ha-Umah ve-ha-Dat and ha-Ge’ulah ve-ha-Dat (the nation and religion and the redemption and religion). The text, taken from Isaiah, states, “Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, who has drunk at the hand of the Lord the cup of his fury” (Isaiah 51:17), etc. “Awake, awake; put on your strength, O Zion; put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city . . . Shake yourself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem; loose yourself from the bands of your neck, O captive daughter of Zion” (Isaiah 52:1-2) The verso of the title page continues these thoughts, stating that the book is entitled Ragle me-Vaser from the verse, “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news (ragle me-vaser), [who announces peace; who brings good news of good, who announces salvation; who says to Zion, Your G-d reigns!] (Isaiah 52:7) which the Radak explains refers to men on the mountain tops who make known the announcement of salvation, and so is the way of the world to make known good news, and those who are zealous to do so are praiseworthy. It concludes that anyone wishing to purchase the book may do so from the author who is in Nasaud, Transylvanien.

As stated on the title page the book is in two parts, the first, Umah ve-ha-Dat 92-17), and then ha-Ge’ulah ve-ha-Dat (18-102), concluding with errata. The text is in a single column in square letters with some of the glosses at the bottom of the page in rabbinic letters. Ragle me-Vaser is based on biblical and rabbinic sources and part of the work is in question and answer form.
