Description		    Only edition. [2], 58 ff., 208:176 mm., wide margins, old hand on title, light age and damp staining. A very good copy bound in modern half cloth and marbled paper boards.
          
Detailed
Description		    Published posthumously by his son, R. Moses Jacob Asch, in 1803. It contains critical notes on the texts of various Talmudic treatises.

R. Abraham b. Joseph Asch, German rabbi and author; born at Posen; officiated as rabbi of Zell toward the end of the eighteenth century. He descended from a learned family which traced its pedigree to R. Meïr of Lublin. His father, R. Joseph, was rabbi of Dessau; and one of his relatives was the scholarly R. Isaiah Berlin. Probably Asch is not identical with Abraham Asch, author of "Torah Kullah" (The Whole Law), Berlin, 1796, who agitated against the custom of hasty burials.
