Detail Description

Only edition of these response and discourses by R. Abraham Naftali Hertz ben Mordecai Zevi Hirsch Yener, rosh bet din in Cracow. The title-page describes Tselota de-Avraham Torah novella and response, “with good judgement” (cf. Psalms 119:66). There is an approbation from R. Joseph Saul ha-Levi Nathansohn, followed by the introduction, errata, and then the text. Tselota de-Avraham is comprised of seventy-one varied response and then twenty-four varied discourses. Foliation is in error, the Bibliographic Project showing gaps in the enumeration, apparently corrected here as the foliation in this copy is correct. The response are lengthy, detailed, and wide ranging as are the discourses.
