Detail Description

Letter by R. Moses Mordecai b. Abraham Aaron Pzerhofer (1845-1916), rabbi of Szered (Wagszered), Hungary. He was educated by his father and ordained by the Ktav Sofer And R. Judah Aszod. R. Moses replaced his father as rabbi in Boldogaszony (Fraukirchen) upon his passing in 1868. In 1888 he was appointyed in Szered (Wagszered) where he served untill his passing. An erudite scholar and posek his responsa was printed in numerous period rabbinical periodicals and contemporary works.
