Detail Description

Letter of novellae by R. Raphael Ullmanaddressed to his uncle R Solomon Ullman, author of Jeriot Shelomo. R. Ullman was a student of the Ketav Sofer and a member in the Hungarian Parliment.


 

Hebrew Description

מכתב ארוך בכתב ידו וחתימתו של רבי רפאל אולמן תלמיד ה'כתב סופר' וחבר הפרלמנט ההונגרי. מתאריך יום א' פר' ואתחנן תר"ך [1860]. אל דודו רבי שלמה זלמן אולמן בעל ה'יריעות שלמה'. המכתב פותח במילים בין המצרים יהפך ה' לששון ולשמחה ... אמ"ו דודי הרב הגאון הגדול רבן של ישראל ראש גולת אריאל המפורסים לשבח ולתהילה כקש"תמוה' שלמה זלמן אולמאן...". המכתב חלקו באידיש (עניינים אישיים), וחלקו בלשון הקודש (דברי תורה), בעניין "הואיל", (מהסוגיות החשובות בש"ס).
