[1] p., 290:234 mm., light age staining, ink on stationary, neat Ashkenazic script, signed and dated.

 

Detailed Description   

Bet Din Decree by R, Abraham Joseph b. Moshe Grunwald (1880-1927) rabbi of Ungwar. The eldest son of the Arugat Habosem, he replaced his father upon his passing in Hust. In 1910 he was appointed to the rabbinate of Ungvar where he served until his passing.  An erudite rabbincal scholar his responsa were published posthumously by his son in Avnei Shoham, (Ungvar 1939). Additionally many of his responsa appear in many peiod publications and works.
