Three independent works by two authors, all published in Vilna at the Rosencrantz press from 1891 through 1896. The first title is Todat Yitzhak, the only edition of this collection of aggadot on the Early and later Prophets, and Ketuvim (Nevi’im Rishonim and Ahronim) by R. Isaac ben Menahem Manish ha-Kohen. The title-page informs that the book is entitled Todat Yitzhak for he has selcected wondrous tales from the aggadot from the Jerusalem and Babylonian Talmuds, the Midrash Rabbah, Seder Eliyahu Rabbah and Zotah, Seder ha-Dorot, Ohel Ya’akov. The text opens with Sefer Yehoshua continues through Iyyov.

The second work, also by R. Isaac ben Menahem Manish ha-Kohen is Likkutei Yitzhak, also the only edition of that commentary on Tehillim. The title-page informs that R. Manish so entitled Likkutei Yitzhak because here too he has assembled his commentary from various sources noted above, but also adding such works as the Midrash Tanhuma, Yalkut Shimonei, Yalkut Reuvveni, Midrash Talpiot, Midrash Shmu’el ha-Hadash, Midrash Rus ha-Hadash on Tehillim, adding at the end material to increase one’s love and service of his Creator, with the merit of David ha-Melekh, the ta’annim and amora’im

The third work is Misped Tamrurim, eulogies on five geonim by R. Moses Judah Leib Goldberg. There is a half title-page and then a more detailed title-page that lists the geonim, R. Joseph Dovber av bet din Brisk; R. Naphtali Zevi Judah Berlin av bet din Volohzin; R. Jerohim Judah Leib of Minsk; R. Isaac Elkhanan ab bet din Kovno; and R. Aryeh Leib av bet din Berizen, son of R. Israel Slanter. There are several approbations and a lengthy introduction from the author and then the eulogies.
