Two works by the kabbalist R. Jacob Hadad from Djerba. The first title, Go’ali Hai, is a detailed two-part commentary with kabbalistic content in Hebrew and with some Judeo-Arabic on the Haggadah. The title-page has an attractive title-page frame on which the author gives his name as Go’ali Hai. There are approbations from R. Isaac Hai Bocbazi, R. Tarablus Ha-Ma’arav, R. Rafael Dabish, R. Joseph Geon, and R. Zion Bassan. There are introductions and a piamon for Shabbat ha-Gadol, a discourse on the reasons for Shabbat ha-Gadol, several pages (8-21 ff.) on Bircat ha-Ailonot, segulot for erev Pesah, and additional front matter related to the seder. The text is accompanied by two commentaries, Go’ali Hai and Aim le-Mikra. The second smaller work, with an attractive detailed border on its title-page, is Ahi Ezer, kabbalistic discourses.

The author, R. Jacob Hadad (1872-1949), a kabbalist, is accounted one of the sages of Djerba. He was a student of R. Joseph Berabi. R. Hadad was known for his great humility and these two works.
