Letter by R. Israel Moses Rosenthal (1867-) & R. Meir Hildesheimer son of R. Azriel Hildesheimer, was a student in the Rabbinical Seminary in Berlin, and had a doctorate. He was a rabbi in Berlin, rabbi of the Ultra-Orthodox congregation and director of the Rabbinical Seminary in Berlin on behalf of the Bikur Cholim Hospital in Jerusalem.

R. Rosenthal was the son of R. Zvi Dov of Warsaw, a descendent of the Hasidic Master R. Joseph of Yampel. R. Israel Moses was born in Jerusalem and raised by the city's Hasidic masters, an erudite scholar he was ordained by R. Samuel Salant. R. Israel Moses spent 60 years of his life teaching pupils in Jerusalem.
