Only edition of these comprehensive selihot and tefillot for Rosh Hodesh Elul, HaShanah arranged by R. Avraham Hamui. These prayers are according to the Sephardic rite. The title page is comprised of six paragraphs describing the purpose of these selihot, each paragraph beginning  with the word Bet; it is dated with the chronogram “for they have observed your word, and kept your covenant (ובריתך (638 = 1878)” (Deuteronomy 33:9). There is an approbation from R. Abrham Gatiniv followed by R. Hamui’s introduction. The text begins with halakhot for erev Rosh Hodesh Elul and Tikkun Hatzot, followed by Tikkun Hatzot, the halakhot for the sheliah ha-zibbur for selihot, dinnei teshuvot, dinnei yemai ha-selihot, tikkinim, dinnei ta’anit for the month of Elul, segulot, all this at the beginning of Bet El. This is a very comprehensive detailed and emminently useful selihot according to the Sephardic custom.
