Detail Description

Letter by R. Abraham Isaac b. Samuel Avigdor Faivelson (1886-1875), Secretary of the Rabbinical Board (Association of Rabbinical Rabbis) in New York City. He served with the organization for over 40 years and was responsible for many of the improvements in kosher supervision and other religious improvements in Jewish life in the USA. The letter, addressed to the Rabbinate in Haifa, regards a woman in divorce proceedings from an estranged husband residing in Haifa.
