Detail Description

Very rare collection of discourses by R. Abraham Dov Moses ben Menosh of Menozahan who had served as rav in Sadonoav in Russia and is currently in the city Gateshead on the river Tyne. אד"ם in the title is an acronym for Abraham Dov Moses. Published earlier in 1911 as a twenty-three page pamphlet this edition is almost five times the size of that earlier printing and is the complete work. The discourses are varied and numerous, encompassing most of the weekly Torah readings, festivals, and other occasion in Jewish life. For example, there are ten discourses for the ten days of teshuva, followed by a devar halakhah for Shabbat Teshuvah, three discourse for Yom Kippur, two for Sukkot, one for Shiminei Atzeret, Sium ha-Torah, Lech Lechah, Vayerah, and Hayyei Sarah. There are also discourses for berit milah, bar Mitzvot (two), nissuin, and a shir le-bar mitzvah. The discourses are of varying length. A rich and diverse work on the Torah and seasons of Jewish life.
