Title:  Nova Bibliotheca Anglo-Judaica: A Bibliographical Guide to Anglo-Jewish History 1937-1960

The Novaa Bibliotheca Anglo-Judaica was prepared in response to a request by the Jewish Historical Society of England to bring up to date Dr. Cecil Roth's Magna Bibliotheca Anglo-Judaica published in 1937. Ruth Pauline Lehmann (1930-2002), was born in Altona, emigrated to England in 1939 and was appointed Assistant Librarian at Jews' College in 1948 and became its first full Librarian in 1954.
