Second edition, [34] ff., octavo, 184:110 mm., light age and damp staining, wide margins. A very good copy not bound.

 

Detail Description

Hasidic sayings on the Pentateuch by Oshpitzin’s first tzaddik, R. Dov Berish B. Moses Frummer (c.1780-1837). He moved in to Oshpitzin to spend his last years in the town and passed away shortly afterwards, on 20 Kislev 5598. R. Dov Berish was born in Chrzanow and raised by his parents. He bacme a teacher of young children in the town and remained unknown. He met the Chozeh of Lublin at a wedding and became his devoted disciple. Contemporary hasidic leaders claimed that he possesed the equivalent knowledge in Torah and Hasidut as the Chozeh.

נדפס, בחלקו הגדול שורה על שורה, על-פי Zolkiew [ת"ר בערך]. נשמטו "דברי המסדר המביא לבית הדפוס".
