Only edition of this history and biographies of the admorim (rabbis and zaddikim) of Kosov-Vishnitz, R. Jacob Koppel and R. Menahem Mendel and his son R. Hayyim. There is a sub-title that begins “Upon one stone are seven facets” (Zechariah 3:9) of light, lighting seven candles, followed with a description of the contents, that it is on the gnerations of the righteous, their good and pleasant deeds, awesome tales  and wonders, the life and Torah of the holy rabbis. Next is a list of the rabbis, seven in number, and that the author (compiler) was R. Hayyim Kahana of Meselitch. There are approbations, an introduction and the text.

R. Menachem Mendel Hager of Kosov (1769-1826) was the son of R. Jacob Koppel. He was a Talmud of R. Elimelekh of Lejask, R. Zevi Hirsch of Nadvorna, and R. Moses Leib of Sasov. In 1890, R. Hager succeeded his father as rebbe of Kosov. Venerated by his contemporaries, his disciples included R. Eliezer Horowitz of Dzikov and R. Samuel Sianover. R. Menachem Mendel beleived that his message could be communicate through music and melody; his tunes were known throughout Romania, hungary, and Czechoslovakia. His works include Ahavat Shalom (Lvov, 1802) and Ahavat Shalom Tanina (Czernowitz, 188), full of gematriot. R. Menachem Mendel was succeeded by in Kosov by his son R. Hayyim and another son, R. David, became rabbi in Zablotov.
