Detail Description

Monograph explaining al the taryag mitzvot that we can fulfill in exile. The title page describes it as a book that “gives goodly words” (Genesis 49:21), small in size but of great value, of great need and of great benefit. In it will be found all the positive precepts and the negative precepts of the Torah and the seven mitzvot de-rabbunim that we fulfill in our exile in a small verse as Keriat Shema. It is entitled Ner Mitzvot in a simple language without depth so that the reader can rapidly read it and so that the principles can be understood; “set upon sockets of fine gold” (Song of Songs 5:15). Hefetz Yakar is according to the Rambam. The text is accompanied by Torah Or to explain the verse with “good judgment and knowledge” (Psalms 119:66). The verso of the title page has a table of contents of the simanim followed by the text.
