Only edition. [6], 68 ff., quarto, 215:155 mm., wide margins, printed on blue-tint paper, light age and damp staining . A very good copy bound in recent half cloth over boards, rubbed.
Detail Description
R. Abiezer Judah b. Isaac of Tiktin came to Jerusalem around 1840. He resided in Jerusalem and wrote several scholarly works: Mishmeret ha-Berit (The Charge of the Covenant), a defense of Judaism against the irreligious, (Jerusalem, 1846); Mekor ha-Berakah (The Source of Blessing), being the first part of a work in three volumes, called Berakah Meshuleshet (The Threefold Benediction), upon the Talmudical treatise Berakot (Lemberg, 1851).

לזרע יצחק ... מיוסד ונבנה מדברים יקרים ... והיה כל מבקש ה' לקרות ולדרוש מעל ספר הלזו. ימצא בו די מבוקשו ... חיברו איש ... מיושבי ירושלם ת"ו החותם בשתים שהן ארבע [אביעזר ב"ר יצחק] ...
"גרת"ה ... לפ"ק", אבל יש לתקן: לפ"ג. עיין: שושנה הלוי, הדפוס הראשון בירושלים, ירושלים תש"א, מס' 21. מעבר לשער "התנצלות" המחבר הכוללת שיר שהאקרוסטיכון שלו: אביעזר. ובסוף ההקדמה, דף [4,ב], הוא מזכיר את אביו: הרב הגדול החריף המפורסם המנוח מוהר"ר יצחק נ"ע. בספר ארבעה שערים. שערי אורה (על מאורעות צפת, ירושלים טבריה), שערי תשובה, שערי יושר, שער ישועה.
