Only edition of this versified elegy for R. Moses ha-Levi of Via by R. Joshua Joseph bar David Levi. The title-page begins that it is “a gift sent to” (Genesis 32:19) the nobles of the children of Israel, the heads of the holy communities, the heads of the Jews in Venice for the ark of the Lord, R. Moses Levi Muggia (of Via). A faithful scribe and trustee of the community of Venice. There is an introduction in rabbinic letters followed by the verse in larger square letters. Kos Tanhumim was written (published) one year after R. Moses ha-Levi’s death.
