Detail Description

Letter by R. Zvi Hirsch Rosenbaum (1920-2006) was the Admor of Kretshinof-Sighet and the son-in-law of R. Chaim Mordechai of Nadvorna. He grew up in the home of his grandfather, the author of Raza D'Uvda, R. Zev Wolf Rosenbaum. He immigrated to Israel after the Holocaust, settled in Jerusalem, and was close to R. Aharon of Belz and later to R. Yoel of Satmar. He was sent by the Belzer Rebbe to live in the North and settled in Kfar Ata (later Kiryat Ata), where he founded a yeshivah and served as Rebbe. In 1976, he returned to Jerusalem.
