Rare record of the activities of a communal organization in Jerusalem in 1923, here of the Va’ad Adat ha-Sefardim. Bound with green wrappers the booklet states the cover and title page state that it is a summary of the Va’ad’s activity from Sivan 1922 through Sivan 1923. The detailed report is comprised of an introduction, its activities, correspondence, financial records, and contributors. The report outlines the Va’ad’s income, expenses which includes hlping the needy, its organizations which include a Talmud Torah, hevra kiddusha, shehitah, enactments, etc. Adat ha-Sefardim gives a clear insight into the activities of an important communal organization in Jerusalem almost a century ago.
