Detailed Description:   

Novellae by R. Abraham Jacob Gershon b. Azriel Meir Lesser (1833-1924). His birthplace was Mir, where he was educated and ordained. He later moved to Halnika near Suvalk, to Horodok in Vilna province, to Ludvanov in Suvalk district, to Chicago in 1882, and to Cincinnati in 1898. R. Levin was a founding member of the Agudat Harabonim in America.
