Detailed Description:
Novellae to the laws of Shulhan Arukh, laws of mikvah by R. Hayyim Zevi Teitelbaum (c.1880–1926), the Sigheter Rebbe, author of Atzei Chaim, was the oldest son of R. Chananya Yom Tov Lipa Teitelbaum the Kedushas Yom Tov. He was the elder brother of R. Joel Teitelbaum and father of R. Moshe Teitelbaum, both rebbes of Satmar. R. Teitelbaum was born in Sighet and suceeded his father as Rebbe and zaddik upon his passing. He attracted many desciples who sought his blessings and advise. R. Hayyim Zevi wrote Azei Hayyim on the Torah and the festivals (in three parts, 1927–34); responsa Azei Hayyim (in two parts, 1939); and Azei Hayyim, on tractate Gittin (1939).
