Detail Description
Decree signed by R. Aaron b. Joseph Kutna (1794-1873), Rabbi of Totis R. Aaron was born in Totis where his father served as rabbi. He was educated and ordained by the Hatam Sofer. He succeeded his father in the Totis
rabbinate after his passing in 1829. An erudite scholar, his name appears in many contemporary responsa as the writer and recipient. He wrote Mishat Aaron (Paks 1901) novellae to Tractate Niddah and Da'at Zekenim - She'arit Joseph (Ofen 1834) novellae.
