Rare discourses on Sefer Beresheit by R. Solomon Aaron ben Nahman Ze’ev Auerbach (1825-93). The title-page describes Tiferet Shelomo novella on the Torah from an ethical perspective (mussar ha-sekhel) for the service of the Creator. Everybody should look into this book to arouse his heart from its slumber to serve the Creator. It lists several other works written by R. Auerbach that he hopes to publish. There are approbations from R. Judah Leibush Landau, R. Isral Mattisyahu Auebach, brother of the author, R. Hayyim Zevi Hirsch Manheimer, R. Soomon Ganzfried, R. Yoel Zevi Ruta and R. Jacob Katina, and R. Benjamin Elimelech, followed by R. Auerbach’s introduction and then the text. This is a detailed and thorough commentary referencing on numerous early works, including kabbalistic sources.
