Detail Description

Only edition of this collection of discourses on the weekly Torah readings and other related subjects by R. Meir Zevi ben Jacob Isaac. The title-page sates that it is of small size but of great value, of value to everyone, in it will be found matters of delight and relaxation for all, a dressing for the pained. Yad Avi Shalom has approbations from R. Dovbaer of Kavla and R. Moses Jacob of Tovshitz. There is an introduction by the author and then the discourses, beginning with Sha’ar Ahavah, followed bySha’ar ha-Yirah, Sha’ar Bitahon, Avodat Avodah, and then Hiddushei Torah. This is followed by several pages on Nevi’im, Ketuvim, Divrei ha-Rav Z”l, Hiddushei Aggadot, Pirkei Avot, Siyyum ha-Sefer, and an index.
