Detail Description

Three homilies by R. Eliezer Lipa Weissblum (1884-1960). He was born in Lezajsk, Galicia, in 1884 to Israel Hayyim, a rabbi in Rumania and the author of a number of works. He was educated by his grandfather until the age of thirteen, and afterward by R. Moses Hacohen Rappaport, who ordained him in 1909. He immigrated to New York in 5671 [1911] and became the rabbi of Anshei Lizensk, a congregation for fellow expatriates from Lezajsk. He also served as the rabbi for Agudat Bahurei Hemed.
