Only Edition, 8, 78 ff., octavo, 202:138 mm., light age staining, extra wide margins. A very good copy bound in the original boards, rubbed and split.

Letter, light age staining, stencil on stationary, neat Ashkenazic script, signed in ink, dated.

 

Detail Description

R. Isaiah Asher Zelig Margulies (1893-1969) was a prolific writer. An erudite scholar he issued more that a dozen works in all areas of rabbinic scholarship. Among his published works is Ashrei ha-Ish (Jerusalem 1927) a fiery polemic against associating with the wicked - the objective of this invective is R. Abraham Isaac Kook, first chief Rabbi of Erez Israel.
