Detail Description

Haggadah with the hasidic/kabbalistic commentary of R. Jacob ben Mordecai Joseph Leiner (1828-78) is known as the Bet Ya’akov after his most important work. He succeeded his father as head of the Izbice/Radzn dynasty, but not his father's fiery temperament. R. Jacob lived in Izbice for thirty years, after which he settled in Radzn. He gave discourses between each course at Sabbath meals and his doors were always open wide to his followers who wished to consult with him.
