First edition, 2-131 ff., quarto, 199:137 mm., wide margins, lacking initial 2 ff., usual light age and damp staining. A good copy bound in recent boards, rubbed.
Detailed Description
Super commentary on Rashi's commentary on the Pentateuch by R. Simeon b. Isaac ha-Levi Oshenburk (16th cent.) Little is known of the author, he resided in Aschaffenburg, Germany and was one of only three or four Jewish families living there during the 16th century. He also wrote Massoret ha-Mikra (1572). The hasidic author and bibliographer, R. Aaron b. Isiah Nathan Walden, re-published Devek Tov with many emendations (1895).
