Detail Description

Only edition of this work comprised of novellae on several tractates and responsa by R. Hayyim Abraham ben Samuel of Jaronda. The title-page has an attractive pillared froama nd is comprised of several pqragraphs, each ending with the author’s name, Hayyim, It is dated with the chronogram “he is trusted throughout My household  בְּכָל־בֵּיתִ֖י נֶאֱמָ֥ן הֽוּא (564 = 1804)” (Numbers 12:7), The text follows immediately after the title-page, beginning with novellae on tractate Shabbat. After the novellae are the responsa. At end is an index, followed by Kuntres Moreh B'ezba on Menachem ben Judah de Lonzano's Maarich by the author, and an explanation of foreign terms in the Zohar Simeon Labi.

R. Hayyim Abraham ben Samuel of Jaronda (1724-c. 1789)  was a kabbalist and is considered among the sages of Salonika. In addition to Yad Neʼeman he was also the author of Ruaḥ Neʼeman (Salonika, 1803) and Dikdukei Haerim on tractte Ta’anit.
