Detail Description

First edition of these detailed novellae on tracate Hullin by R. Jacob ben Zevi Altenkustadt (Koppel Harif), av bet din and Rosh Mesivta. Hidushe Yaʻbets was arranged and brought to press by his son, R. Ezekiel R. Reich. There is an approbation from R. Moses Sofer, followed by an introduction by the author;s sons, Zevi Hirsch, Meshullam, and Ezekiel Reich which informs that this is an is an extract from a more exhaustive series of novellæ written by R. Jacob Koppel on the whole Talmud. This is a detailed work on an important and complex tractate.

R. Jacob ben Zevi Altenkustadt (Koppel Harif) (1776-1836) served as rabbi at Verbo, Hungary; lived in the first half of the nineteenth century.
