Detailed Description
Apparently only edition of this work which, described on the title-page as including all the mitzvot between man and the Lord, applicable in all places and all times, for Kohanim, Levim, and Israelites, male and female. The title-page states that it is part one; it appears that additional parts were not published, and that it was printed at R. Mussajoff’s expense. There is an introduction by R. Mussajoff which he begins by informing that he is a resident of Jerusalem and his endeavor to arrange for himself and others all the mitzvot in the Torah, both positive and negative, to explain how to fulfil the mitzvot, with parables. For example. How to make tefillin, where they are place, the appropriate blessings, and so with all positive mitzvot. He has done this with brevity, avoiding disputations. Next is a preface from R. Jacob Orenstein and then the text. The text follows, enumerating in this volume one hundred eighty-six mitzvot
R. Solomon Mussajoff (1852-1922) was a rabbinic sage. Born in Bukharia, went up to Eretz Israel in 1890. After several months he returned to Bukharia to get his family and also bring them to Eretz Israel, which he did, residing in Jerusalem for the rest of his life. R. Mussajoff was also the author of Hukat Olam and left other works in manuscript.
