Detail Description

Ateret Yehoshua, a five part set of homilies and saying to the Pentateuch and holidays by R. Joshua ben Meir Horowitz (1842-1912) av bet din in Zikov (Tarnobrzeg, Galicia). The work was published by his son, who was also av bet din in Zikov, currently in Tarnow. At the bottom of the title page is the publisher's address and telephone number in Polish. There are prefatory remarks from R. Horowitz’s son, Alter Horowitz, and from his grandson, who transcribed and edited the work. The text follows, in two columns in rabbinic type, excepting headers and initial words.
