Detail Description

Letter addressed to R. Abraham Englard by R. Elimelekh b. Isaiah Shapira, Admor of Piaseczno-Grodzisk. He was the nephew of R. Kalonymus Kalmish Shapira, Admor of Piaseczno, author of Hovot ha-Talmidim and Esh Kodesh. R. Elimelekh was crowned Admor of Piaseczno after the Holocaust in memory of his renowned uncle and later of Grodzisk when the Admor passed on.
