Detailed Description   

Horev printed seforim in a small portable size on very thin tissue paper, thus multi-volume books were condensed to one volume.

Aggadic selections from the Talmud sections of the Hok le-Yisrael by R. Hayyim Vital. This edition includes the commentary and notations of the HIDA, R. Hayyim Joseph David Azulai. R. Hayyim Vital, the foremost of the disciples of the Ari z”l, advocated textual study as a means to mystical contemplation. This work, intended for study each morning, is a compendium of the Parasha of the week with parts of the prophets and various Mishnayot, sections of Talmud, halakhot for each day of the year, and Kabbalistic literature.
